With so many hair care and skincare products on the drugstore shelf, how do you know what to buy? And if you’re pregnant, wow, there’s another can of worms to consider when you are putting chemicals on your skin/body, right? Whether you are a mom or a mom-to-be, Nine Naturals was created for you.

At five months post-partum and still nursing, I was introduced to Nine Naturals. I have recently sampled a number of their products designed to simplify the beautification process and targeted to those pregnant and beyond. I was excited to check out this product line because they only use handpicked and organic ingredients…sounds great for anyone, not just those that are pregnant, doesn’t it?

The first item I opened was the Pregnancy Travel Gift Set. Inside it had the basics needed for going on vacation and are appropriately sized for airplane travel.

Citrus + Geranium Soothing Body Wash, 2 oz.

Vanilla + Geranium Regenerative Belly Butter, 1 oz.

The scents of the Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner are soothing and like a breath of fresh air in my morning shower. And using the creamy Mandarin + Ginger Restorative Conditioner once or twice a week to change up the aroma is delightful! After using the shampoo and conditioner, I can tell that my hair is absorbing all the vitamins because it feels healthy and has a nice shine to it.

I haven’t been diligent with the use of the Vanilla + Geranium Regenerative Belly Butter the past month but my hubby did say to me that my stretch marks seem to be fading…so perhaps it’s helping.

Another item that I have been using is the Moisturizing Unscented Body Cream. It’s hard to find a moisturizing cream that doesn’t leave my hands and arms feeling all greasy, but this one does the trick – not greasy at all! And although my sense of smell isn’t as sensitive as it was when I was pregnant, I don’t mind that the cream is unscented as it allows me to pick up the gentle hints of citrus and mint coming from my hair.

I really love that the Nine Naturals line is made with pure, 100% plant-based ingredients and never uses Sulfates, Parabens, Phthalates, Petrochemicals, DEA, Synthetic Fragrances, or Artificial Preservatives.

I’ve perused the Nine Naturals website and am impressed with the amount of resources found in their blog and in the ingredients glossary. If I were pregnant again or for the first time, I’m sure I could find myself spending countless hours absorbing all the free information.

Great news! I just found out that Nine Naturals released two new products in their Bodycare line – Unscented Natural Deodorant and Natural Sunscreen SPF 32. I can’t wait to try them!
